The Pro-Poor Seal of Excellence Welcomes PPAF as its Partner in Pakistan
The Pro-Poor Seal of Excellence is pleased to announce its partnership with the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF), as well as its key supporters IFAD and the World Bank, to promote microfinance that works for poorer clients in Pakistan.
Two Pakistani MFIs will participate in the Seal Beta Test, which includes MFIs from eight countries, covering all the regions of the world. Later in the spring, there will be a formal launch of the partnership in which PPAF is considering making Seal assessment a prerequisite for all MFIs that it funds. Exciting progress for the Seal and an important commitment to people living in poverty in Pakistan!
