The Microfinance Club UK had a great turnout last week with excellent presentations from JD Bergeron, Director of the Seal of Excellence, and Daniella Hawkins, Social Performance Manager at MicroLoan Foundation. Bergeron spoke about how the Seal will provide a “road map” for reaching those living in poverty and seeing positive change in their lives through measurement and commitment. A good example of this “road map” in action is the work being done by MicroLoan foundation. Hawkins spoke about how the foundation is using measurement indicators and the results to adapt their financial products and reach better outcomes for the poor. A special thanks to MF Club UK for maintaining such a high level of engagement, and to MicroLoan Foundation and BNP Paribas for their participation and hosting the event.
